Harvest

Wheat (or barley?) is fully grown. I don't know what the grains are used for. Maybe bread, but might be for miso or liquor. This time of year used to be called "baku-shu", which means " wheat (or barley) autumn".

Right next to the wheat field, rice plants were just transplanted in the paddy field. They will quickly grow to make a beautiful green carpet.
