Charr stream again

(As usual, clicking the picture enlarges it a little.)

I took my students to the remote charr stream again.

This waterfall is called the "inu-modoshi fall", which means a waterfall that makes dogs return probably because of too steep a terrain.

The rainy season will start soon in this area. You can expect many kinds of mashrooms from now on.

This insect becomes active after a rainfall. This is the one that I mentioned previously, which feeds on snails. I found it when it was almost drowned in the stream, so I picked it up and brought it home to show Makoto.
