Carp flags
At this time of a year we can see carp flags, or koinobori, here and there. May 5th is originally a boy's day, now a kid's day, and the flags are symbols of the day. (These pictures can be enlarged by clicking.)

Hey i watched an documentary in my tv ( im from Brasil) about the carps productors of this specific region of Japan , but that documentary is pretty old since it was made in the early 1989, so i was wondering if those carp productors still exists and if there's a big market like the one shown in the documentary... (forgive me if im wrong)...
