Again, and for the last time probably, our English school had a Bible camp on May 15-16.
After lunch we climbed a mountain near the meeting place/camp site in order to enjoy nature.
It was a hot day, but fresh air in the woods was nice. I found trees whose young buds are edible and popular among local people. Although it was too late for picking the buds, I will surely go back to the trail next year because I know they are delicious.
From the top of the mountain you can see the buildings of our camp site (right in the middle of the picture).
Monotropastrum humile. Saprophytes that are common in Asia. I don't know the English name but the Japanese name is translated as a Silver Dragon. I like the name.
I also found a weird insect. Don't know what it is. But interesting.
